The Future Ready Dairy Systems project in Gippsland is part of a national project aimed to show case changes that dairy farmers are making to manage the variable climate. The project has several funders including Dairy Australia & The Australian Government.

No flies on us!
Happy, healthy cows at Alberton
Many farmers in our region have reported an absence of flies this summer. Most summers, flies can be a bother to stock and workers on dairy farms. It makes a pleasant change not to have this problem due to our mild summer conditions.
