Want to know more about earthworms?
Tom Phillips' blog, Pasture to Profit has an interesting post about earthworms. With lots of earthworm activity in Gippsland's soils after recent rains, this may interest many of you!
Thank you for the reference. Pasture based dairying in the UK has many similarities with Gippsland....yes the climate is different but the farming methods are closely related. I think we have grossly undervalued earthworms contribution....in our Discussion Groups we often carry a spade into the paddock...in a spade full of soil we are looking for a minimum of 25 earthworms that are healthy & active.Tom
