Field Day - Saving Energy in the Dairy

Find out more about saving energy in the dairy by seeing the Green CleaningTM system and hearing technical specialists from AgVet and Cleantec provide up to date information on how this new technology will benefit dairy farmers.

Also see and hear a range of speakers discuss solar energy, small scale wind energy, methane energy and heat transfer systems suitable for dairy farms.

A tour of the dairy will also take place with Darold Klindworth from DPI Ellinbank providing tips on what farmers can do in their own dairy to save on energy.

Energy costs are going to increase and sustainable and small scale renewable energy options are becoming popular additions to dairy farms.


The Field Day is open to all dairy farmers or anyone who works on a dairy farm.
Dairy service providers are also welcome.
There will be displays on solar systems, heat transfer systems and much more.
