The Future Ready Dairy Systems project in Gippsland is part of a national project aimed to show case changes that dairy farmers are making to manage the variable climate. The project has several funders including Dairy Australia & The Australian Government.

DairySAT is a self assessment tool available on line to help dairy farmers assess their current practices in several areas including;
soils
fertilisers
effluent management
pests & weeds
chemicals
farm wastes
greenhouse gas emissions
native vegetation & waterways
energy & water use in the dairy
