Silage Season
The silage season in Gippsland has been underway for a few weeks now. Some areas are later than others due to the wet conditions we have experienced for over a year now. It is proving difficult to access lower lying country and soils that hold moisture.
In southern parts of the region the rainfall has now reached 1300 mm where the average annual rainfall is 1000 mm.
