The Future Ready Dairy Systems project in Gippsland is part of a national project aimed to show case changes that dairy farmers are making to manage the variable climate. The project has several funders including Dairy Australia & The Australian Government.

It's hot!
After mild summer conditions the heat has hit Gippsland in recent days. Temperatures reached 40 degrees C in many parts of the region yesterday. Although we don't often have sustained heat it is important to plan for the warmer days. Providing shade in the paddocks and plenty of water is important.
