Future Ready Dairy in NE Victoria

From drought to flooding rains, the challenges of dairying in the
Murray Dairy region have tested everyone over recent years. Amongst
these extreme events, many farms have made changes to better cope with
our variable climate. This is your opportunity to hear how others have
responded to these challenges.

Led by Brian Crockart and Scott Rathbone from CRC Agrisolutions, the
day will feature a panel discussion with Ian and Karen Litchfield,
Andy and Cathy Lostroh, Rob and Gai Singleton, and Ruth and Neville
Kydd – four farming families who have made lasting changes to their
feedbase and management systems and grown their businesses in the face
of challenging times
. The panel session will follow an introduction
and brief history of each farm describing the changes they have made
to their farming systems as a result of the drought.
