Managing Feeding in Wet Conditions
As an east coast low is settling in over much of the Gippsland region, conditions are worsening for dairy farmers.
Keeping cows well fed is critical but also difficult - feeding large numbers of cows in extremely wet conditions is a daunting task. However, feeding and maintaining the pasture base are among the most important undertakings in ensuring a quick recovery once the wet period ends. This link has some useful information.
